Good job to the whole team and looking forward to the next race of the International cycling events in Rhodes
“At the first tour of the season immediately a double podium and UCI points after a really strong team performance! Alexis Guerin finished second in the final stage from Rhodes city to Salakos over 168 kilometers and improved from fourth to third overall.
In the team classification, the team from Vorarlberg finishes the Tour of Rhodes in fourth place.
Werner Salmen – Sporting Director: “The guys rode really strong today. The last 25 kilometers of the race Reutimann and Meiler rode almost everything from the front and crushed the field. Stüssi had like Stari in the final defect. That was a pity, but nevertheless Thalmann and Zoidl were able to support Guerin perfectly in the final. So it was enough for the first podium in the first Tour. But much more important is the performance of the team. You can see that the riders have worked well during the winter. Now we use days here in Greece for fine-tuning!”
1st stage 12.03. Koskinou – Koskinou 172,1 KM

A national race with training character will follow on Wednesday, before continuing next Sunday with the Rhodes Grand Prix, a one-day UCI category 1.2 race.
